SAINT PATRICK COMMUNITY GARDEN

Dear Future Sponsor, 

 

Saint Patrick Community Garden is a non-profit volunteer organization, engaged in growing vegetables/flowers for personal use, as well as taking care of a garden plot for the St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank (over half of our plots supply fresh produce for the Food Bank). The Food Bank serves over 250 families each week from Canby, Molalla, Oregon City, Aurora, Woodburn and other surrounding communities.

Our garden is hosted by St. Patrick's Catholic Church and our mission is to actively engage youth, families, and individuals from the community to develop creative skills in sustainable urban living and organic gardening.

The gardeners who make this garden a success are made up of Food Bank clients, parishioners, and other individuals or families from the community. 

​

Donations to our Garden are tax deductible and all funds are placed in a special account that can only be used for the garden.  Your donation is an essential asset in the continuation of our community garden, as all of the hours spent building and managing the garden are volunteer-based. 

 

Saint Patrick Church is under the 501 (C3) nonprofit code.  All checks should be made out to the Saint Patrick Church Community Garden. Once your donation has been received, we will send you a letter for your tax purposes in the amount of the donation.
